A legal disclaimer

1. Introduction

M4G Services LLC  (DBA:Grandpa's Workshop On Wheels) is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers and website visitors in Louisiana. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information. It also outlines your rights and how to contact us about privacy concerns.

2. Information We Collect

  • Personal Identifiers: name, address, email, phone, etc.

  • Sensitive Personal Data: Social Security numbers, driver’s license/state ID, financial account numbers with access codes, passport numbers, biometric data (e.g. fingerprints)—when necessary for service provision. Collecting is limited to what is reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes.

  • Usage Data: IP address, device/browser info, cookies, and analytics data.

3. How We Collect Information

  • Directly from you through forms, applications, contracts, or service communications.

  • Automatically, via cookies or tracking technologies during website interactions.

  • From Vendors, for service delivery and implementation (e.g. payment processors, scheduling tools).

4. Purpose of Collection

We use personal data to:

  • Fulfill legal or regulatory obligations.\ We collect only data necessary for these purposes.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We will not sell or trade your data. We may share it:

  • If required by law, or to comply with legal processes.

  • In a business transaction, such as a merger or sale—subject to privacy assurances.

6. Data Retention & Destruction

We retain personal information as long as needed for service provision, compliance, or dispute resolution. When no longer needed, we securely dispose of or anonymize it via shredding, erasure, or destruction.

7. Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical, physical, and administrative safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.

8. If a Data Breach Occurs

Under current Louisiana law (La. R.S. 51:3071–3077), we will notify any Louisiana resident whose personal information (name + qualifying data) is reasonably believed to have been accessed without authorization within 60 days of breach discovery. We will also notify the Attorney General if the breach affects 500 or more residents. Effective July 1, 2026, notification timing updates to within 48 hours. The policy will be updated accordingly.

9. Louisiana Residents’ Rights

Starting July 1, 2026, Louisiana residents will have:

  • Access, correction, and deletion rights over personal data.

  • Right to opt out of unauthorized sales/sharing.

  • Right to data portability (if applicable).

10. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover any such data was collected, we will promptly delete it.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in laws or services. When required, we will notify you and post the effective date.
